Hi, I'm Emily! I help KS3 and GCSE students build confidence and achieve their best in English, English Literature, Art and Film Studies.
About Emily
I'm currently studying English Literature, Art and Film Studies at A-Level at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted, and I'm predicted A grades across the board. Having recently been through GCSEs myself, I know exactly what it takes to succeed — and more importantly, how to make studying feel less overwhelming.
My approach is all about building genuine confidence. I remember what it felt like to stare at an essay question and not know where to start, so I focus on breaking things down and making subjects feel approachable and even enjoyable.
Outside of studying, you'll probably find me cooking up something new in the kitchen, walking my dog Charlie, or singing along to Hamilton (for the hundredth time). I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable with your tutor — so expect plenty of chat alongside the coursework!
